The Problem

Some of my Quaketrap friends had a loss of data. I have to try to help get back the Reason files. Turns out that they bought an external firewire drive which just worked when plugged into the Macintosh. But it is a FAT32 formatted drive.

Progress

Disk Utility reports problems with the partition, but I don't want to use Disk Utility to fix it without making a copy. I used dd to sector copy the drive so that I can work on without risking the original disk.
